![]() The Multiplayer coop in this game might be a put off for some but didn't bother me and my friend. ![]() Magic techniques feel great to me as I got into these games from Age of Calamity where those kind of mechanics are a norm and being an all-star type of game means that there are more characters to max level than most people will ever care for and lots of them have legitimately different feel and style variations. The 3 warrior switch mechanics put me off at first but seem to be easy to ignore on normal difficulty settings but would probably be a necessity in the nightmare/super modes. The story isn't anything special which is fine with me as I dig musou games for their mindless/gratuitous action. ![]() ![]() I'm almost 30 hours in at this point and just now reaching what might be considered the endgame (having tackled all the side missions along the way sometimes getting all bonus objectives done and sometimes B-lining it) and I'm pumped more than ever to start grinding out skill trees and maxed weapons for my favorite characters. I'm glad I decided to shake off my initial doubts because there is a metric ton to do in this one and very little of it has felt like a drag. I actually refunded this at first after an hour or so of play because I was torn between the comments made by long time fans as well as the allure of Samurai Warriors 5 which is also on my radar.
